Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services of Συμβολαιογράφος Αθηνών, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
We provide legal services, including but not limited to, contract preparation, property transactions, Golden Visa assistance, and other legal matters. The specific services offered are detailed in the ‘Services’ section of our website.
3. Fees and Payment
The fees and payment for notarial acts are fully compliant with the professional rules governing Notary Publics. This compliance is ensured because the Government is the sole authority that defines these financial terms.
Key Regulations
Government-Defined Terms: The Government establishes the acceptable means of payment (e.g., bank transfer, check, etc.) and the official payment terms and methods.
Transaction-Specific Fees: The fee for a notarial act is not uniform. It is calculated based on the merit and type of contract drafted.
Variable Pricing Example: A complex document like a transfer contract (e.g., for property sale) will have a fee structure that is different from a simpler act like a Power of Attorney (POA).
Transparency: Full payment information specific to your contract is available to you upon request.
4. Limitation of Liability
We are committed to providing our valued clients with a high standard of professional service, including accurate and reliable legal advice. However, the scope of our responsibility is strictly limited to the notarial act itself.
We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from external services, actions, or delays that may affect or interfere with the final contract.
Specific Exclusions from Our Liability
Our office is not responsible for the following issues:
Errors by Other Professionals: We do not assume liability for the professional negligence, mistakes, or omissions of other professionals involved in the transaction, such as engineers, appraisers, or financial advisors.
Administrative Delays: We are not responsible for delays or processing issues caused by external government or administrative offices, including slow processing times at the Cadastral Office or land registry.
4. Work Ethics
Our office maintains priority status only for actively committed clients. If a case becomes inactive due to a prolonged period of client no-contact or unexplained delay (e.g., exceeding one year), the case will automatically lose its priority in our queue. We cannot ethically halt the progress of active files to accommodate sudden resumption requests from stalled cases. Clients are expected to inform us of any expected delays; without this notification, resuming service will be based on our current workload and the priority needs of our committed clients.
5. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
